It’s award season for video games, and that means it’s time to gear up for another hours-long commercial with some awards sprinkled in between the new trailers. The Game Awards is back this year and will be streaming live on December 11. Today, November 17, host Geoff Keighley announced this year’s nominees, which are decided by a panel of different critics, journalists, and other industry figures. Funnily enough, we knew the nominees for the Game of the Year award ahead of time because they were leaked beforehand, but now all of the categories’ nominees have been revealed.
